UCF Department of English: Concentration in Literature
The Literature track helps students develop the ability to read discerningly, think critically,
and write clearly. The study of literature in its historical, cultural, and theoretical contexts
helps to reveal to students the ways of people and society while encouraging the lifelong pleasure
to be found in this art form.
